Full gold. Fully mature aromas of ripe apricot, toffee and hazelnut. Surprisingly firm and vibrant on entry, then fine-grained, slightly creamy and dry in the middle palate, with stone fruit, orange pith and smoky mineral flavors accented by a hint of bitters. This classically dry mid-weight Meursault offers good texture and finishes with a note of apricot. I suspect this wine is on its downslope but it's still a satisfying glass of Meursault. - VM

The magnificent Meursault Perrieres displays profound aromas of stones, limes, flowers, and crisp pears. This thick, dense, and satin-textured wine offers loads of caramel covered apples, fresh butter, minerals, and oak spices in its explosive yet elegant personality. It is full-bodied, fat, impeccably balanced, and possesses a stupendously long finish. - WA
