This beauty remains as stunningly elegant, pure and dazzlingly complex as it was when I first reviewed it (see herein) as the expressive nose is comprised by notes of white rose, acacia blossom, lemon zest and plenty of mineral reduction character. There is outstanding precision and still almost painful intensity to the tautly muscular flavors that culminate in a hugely long finish that is like rolling tiny pebbles around the mouth. - BH

The 2010 Meursault Perrières takes things to another level. I can still remember tasting the 2010 from barrel, and how vivid it was back then. Today, it is every bit as remarkable. A host of slate, smoke, lemon peel and white flower nuances dazzles the senses. Explosive and positively salivating from the very first taste, the 2010 is simply exquisite. What a wine! (AG) - VM

The 2010 Comtes Lafon Perrières is absolutely stunning and is clearly one of the vineyards that was collected before the rains came on the 24th. The brilliant and soaring nose delivers a magical mélange of apple, a touch of pink grapefruit, tangerine, almonds, spring flower, vanillin oak, a touch of iodine and a kaleidoscopic base of stony minerality. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and shut down tight, with a rock solid core of fruit, brilliant focus and balance, snappy acids and brilliant length and grip on the perfectly balanced and electric finish. A brilliant young bottle of Perrières. - JG
